Dorothea
S. Michelman, a freelance writer and photographer, is a native of Germany,
now living in Alexandria, Virginia. Her travel articles and photographs have appeared
on both sides of the Atlantic in major newspapers such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine
Zeitung in Germany, and in U.S. newspapers including the Washington Post, Boston
Globe and Dallas Morning News. The Canadian newspapers, among them, the Toronto
Globe and Toronto Star have featured her work.In addition, she has produced articles for the Voice of America's German Section and articles and photos for another Federal agency promoting travel to the United States by potential visitors from Canada, Europe, Asia and South America.
