Contributing Writer
Mark H. Bradley
Mark H. Bradley, 50, is a freelance writer living in the tiny historic village of Maeystown, IL. A former President and CEO of his own advertising/PR company, he chose to check out of the rat race at the beginning of the new millennium and pursue his pent up desire to see the world. A self proclaimed "semi-retired international playboy", he has traveled the world in search of the unique, the unusual, and the undiscovered.
Writing for the Independent Newspapers of Illinois in his folksy, first person narrative style, he has developed a loyal cadre of readers and is working on his first book "Up Off The Easy Chair", a hysterical recounting of his adventures since leaving the Lazy-Boy in his rear view mirror and living life to the fullest.
Some of his adventures include "My Big Fat Greek-Scottish Wedding" in the Greek Isles; the "Tale of the Giant Blue Clam" on Australia's Great Barrier Reef; and "Costa Rican Birthday Party". He is currently retracing the steps of Lewis and Clark from his home near St Louis to the Pacific Coast in Oregon where they spent the winter of 1805-06 to give his impressions on how things have changed along the trail in those 200 years.
