After along day of on and off again rain on Saturday the action really heated up for both players and kids on a windy but clear Sunday. There was a wide range of activities for kids from tower climbing to hula hoops, face painting and learning the basics of serving. Players who did not have matches worked with their coaches.
The tennis action was pretty wild too with players from all over the world vying for the eight qualifier slots that will be given out for first round play. Grace Min of the United States was a winner and a crowd favorite. American hopefuls Taylor Townsend, Victoria Duval and Madison Brengle all lost close matches.
